TRISTAN PORSCH REPEATS AS STATE CHAMPION WRESTLER
Launch the media gallery 1 playerTristan Porsch placed first in the 132 lb. weight class at the 3-2-1A State Wrestling Championships held in Hays on Friday and Saturday February 27th and 28th. In the first round, Tristan won by a major decision of 12-3 over Scott Resler of Wathena Riverside. The quarterfinal round found Tristan winning by a fall over Bryce Shults of Marion High School. Gable Howerton of Silver Lake was his Semifinal opponent, and Tristan won 4-0. The finals found Tristan wrestling Macrae Migchelbrink of Atwood-Rawlins Co. Tristan was victorious with a major decision of 12-2. Congratulations on a great season, Tristan!
