Boys basketball won the Sub-State Tournament in Ellis and will advance to the State Tournament in Manhattan. The first game will tip off in Bramlage Coliseum at 8:15 on Thursday, March 12.
The road to state began at home with a 63-29 victory over the Oakley Plainsmen to advance to the Sub-State semi-final game against the Hill City Ringnecks. The Indians played them at Ellis on Friday, March 6. They defeated the Ringnecks 64-48 to advance to the Finals against Plainville. In a dominating performance, the Indians knocked off the Cardinals 81-66 to win the Sub-State tournament and advance to the state tournament!
