USD # 412, Hoxie Community Schools, is now accepting applications for a JR/SR High Principal for the 2025-2026 school year. Our JR/SR High consists of grades seven through twelve.
Hoxie USD #412 is a school district with a tradition of success and an eye for the future. Our highly qualified staff pride themselves in taking care of the individual needs of all students through data driven and researched based educational practices. We offer a wide range of highly competitive and award-winning extracurricular activities giving students opportunities to participate preschool through 12th grade. Hoxie Junior/Senior High Highlights:
- NWKTC Welding certificate option for Juniors and Seniors
- Eligible Seniors participate in internships during school hours with partnering businesses in their area of interest
- Dual Credit available to all Juniors and Seniors through Colby Community College & Northwest Kansas Technical College
- Junior High students are exposed to various exploration classes including Ag, FACS, Computers, Industrial Arts, Business and Creative Writing
- Nine CTE Pathways that aid in a smooth transition to secondary education and/or workforce opportunities
- Greenhouse that students are responsible for and grow plants to sell to the community
- STUCO runs a successful coffee and snack bar with the proceeds going back to student organizations
- Special Education and 7-12 General Education classroom teachers work hard to break down stereotypical barriers so that all students are included academically and socially
- Remodeled library that provides comfortable areas for studying and socializing
- Annual play performed by High School students
- Scholarship opportunities for post-secondary learning
- Newly remodeled courtyard to allow for outdoor learning
USD 412 operates a year-round daycare, with priority given to our teachers and staff. If daycare is at capacity, teachers and staff are given priority on the waitlist.
