The Hoxie High School Cross Country teams excelled at the Regional meet in Norton on October 26, with both the boys and girls teams taking first place and securing spots at the State meet in Wamego.
Senior Quinn Lowry expressed his pride in his teammates, saying, “Super proud of my team, everyone gave 110% of their effort.” Girls' coach Graham praised the athletes for their hard work, stating, “We knew the girls had a big performance ready, and just needed the right day for it. They did everything they were ready to do, and did that on the best day for it. We're incredibly proud of what they did and more importantly who they are.”
Senior Izzie Baier reflected on the season, saying, “Words cannot begin to describe how proud I am of everyone this season. We have all gone above and beyond what anyone thought we could.” Hoxie High School looks forward to the upcoming State meet.
