The Forensics team in Hoxie High School is starting this season off well. They’ve already been to several meets, including Ellis, Colby, and Hays. They’ve received high scores and some even broke into state. The members are Darion Meyer, Skyler Denio, Terran Hoyt and Serena McCown; they are coached by Micah Howery. “They’ve improved their scores, first of all,” said Mr. Howery when we asked how the students have improved since last year’s season. “This is the first time they’ve broken into state. They’ve also improved their energy and their precision.”
