HS Art Students Compete at FHSU Art Show
On April 15, 2026, Fort Hays State University held the 51st Annual High School Art Exhibition. Approximately 1,300 students from 72 high schools in Kansas and Colorado participated in the event. The exhibition was sponsored by the Department of Art at Fort Hays State University and was held in the Gross Memorial Coliseum. For this year, Hoxie displayed work from all high school art class projects, including graphic design. High school art students received 15 awards and the graphic design class received 5 awards. Also, for the second year in a row, individual awards for outstanding work were given.
