FFA GREENHANDS PLACE THIRD AT POULTRY JUDGING

Six greenhands represented the Hoxie FFA Chapter at the Poultry CDE on March 8, 2016. The students were scored on a myriad of events including placing classes, grading eggs, looking for defects in eggs, identifying parts of the chicken, and examining bone-in and bone-out processed poultry. Hoxie placed third as a team. Freshman Jake Geisinger placed fourth in the greenhand division. Freshman Sam Bretz placed tenth in the greenhand division with Logan Weimer following in eleventh.
